Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Java, Neolithic period, ca. 4500 to 500 BCE. A collection of 5 blades, each pecked and polished for use as adze or axe tools. Each has ancient chips and nicks from over the ages and use, but the original surfaces are highly polished and retouched in modern times. Size: 3.75" L x 1.8" W (9.5 cm x 4.6 cm)
