A collection of knapped stone tools from sites in Algeria made from flint (chert) stones to function as hand axes or scraping tools. Stone implements such as these represent some of the earliest tools made by our ancestors, and it is always thrilling to hold such ancient artefacts and marvel at the progression of human tools and technology!
