Roman and Bactrian Empires, Ca late 1st millennium BCE to 3rd century CE. First, very fine set of four Roman bronze medical tools - each with wonderful deep green patina. Includes long scoop, scraper, tweezers and probe, the longer two with fabulous incised decorations. Along with Bactrian hair pin in shape of horse, drilled for suspension just below. Size: 5-7/8" L for longest. Provenance: Ex-Attal collection via family descent from great uncle, collected before 1950.
