Native American, central United States, northwest Indiana, La Porte, Transitional Paleo-Indian to Early Archaic periods, ca. 8500 to 6500 BCE (10,500 to 8,500 BP). A fabulous ensemble of 3 hand-knapped stone arrow heads, 2 Yuma (or Eden) points and 1 Dalton point, boasting hues of light grey, tan, and cream. The Yuma projectile points each present a long, narrow lanceolate form with a straight stem and an excurvate edge. Alternatively, the Dalton point features an auriculate form and an outward recurvate shape with a gently constricted waist and a concave base. Size of largest: 4" L x 1.125" W (10.2 cm x 2.9 cm)
