Description:

Central Asia, Tibet, ca. mid-20th century CE. A fine set of three wearable bracelets formed from nickel brass. The first bracelet has seven cobalt blue stones inlaid within form-fitting bezels as well as granules and wires adding to the composition. The second bracelet also features deep blue stone inlays with two teardrop-shaped stones on either side of a rectangular front stone enclosed within a tall frame filled with twisted wire ringlets. The largest bracelet has five polished turquoise stones set within protruding bezels and zigzagging wires as well as twisted ringlets across the front. Size of largest (turquoise inlays): 2.75" W x 3.3" H (7 cm x 8.4 cm); (wrist opening): 1.875" W (4.8 cm)
