Greece, Hellenistic period, ca. 323 to 30 BCE. A dazzling trio of gold repousse appliques, each presenting an annular form encompassed by a border of linear patterns and crested wave motifs, similar to those found on Greek pottery. These opulent adornments were likely once sewn onto the clothing of an Ancient Greek. Size (all about the same: 1.9" Diameter (4.8 cm); gold quality: 45.6 - 50.2% (equivalent to 10.9 to 12.05 karats); total weight: 8.5 grams
