Roman, Imperial Period, 2nd century CE. A well-preserved, mold-made oil lamp with small loop handle and a projecting spout. The central discus has a design of a fish with a trident behind it or possibly pierced through it - all motifs of the sea and the god Neptune. With a stamp on its flat underside - a maker's mark, sadly unreadable. Size: 4.4" L x 3.05" W x 1.75" H (11.2 cm x 7.7 cm x 4.4 cm)
