Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Peru, and Ecuador, ca. 300 BCE to 1200 CE. A fine gathering of 29 amulets and pendants from across ancient Mesoamerica. First are 11 West Mexican pieces showing a conical pendant, a whistle, animals, figures, and a head. Second are 8 Ecuadorian pottery pendants showing six figures, a spindle whorl bead, and a hemispherical bead. Third are 10 Peruvian shell beads of abstract anthropomorphic and zoomorphic forms with one disembodied head. Size of largest (West Mexican conical pendant): 1.9" L x 0.7" W (4.8 cm x 1.8 cm)
