Description:

North America, post-World War II, ca. mid-20th century CE. A long and slender pointer made during the post-World War II period from brass bullet casings. The butt of each casing was opened to insert the head of another bullet, and this process is repeated eight times for a total of nine casings. The butt of the last casing is capped with a small, circular button bearing an image of the Great Seal of the United States, an eagle holding a bundle of arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other. The entire pointer is covered in a thick silver coating which gives it its metallic color. Size: 20.25" L x 0.875" W (51.4 cm x 2.2 cm).
