Description:

**Originally Listed At $300**

Native American, Pacific Northwest (USA and Canada), Salish tribe, ca. 1910s to 1920s CE. A lovely hand-carved wooden totem pole projecting upwards from an attached platform with sloped side walls. The totem pole features a trio of abstract zoomorphic creatures that resemble (from top to bottom) a raven, a deer, and a wolf. The artist took special care to carve the animals so that they could be clearly recognized when seen from the front or from either side. Fine patina envelops this example of attractive Salish artistry! Size: 1.3" W x 5.8" H (3.3 cm x 14.7 cm).

Provenance: private Newport Beach, California Collection; ex-Randall Cunningham collection, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
