Tribal / Ethnographic, Papua New Guinea, Middle Sepik River, early-mid 20th century CE. A hand-carved wood figure, kneeling, with a long, beak-like nose and deep set eyes. Carved as part of his head is another head with wide eyes and the mouth facing upwards. The figure is kneeling on a round pedestal with incised carving around its base. Comes with custom stand. Size: 1.3" W x 5.5" H (3.3 cm x 14 cm); height on stand: 5.8" (14.7 cm)
