Made by weaving cane over a wooden frame, it includes two tail-like projections, one from either long side, and then four arms, each with five long fingers (oneis missing a finger), creating a headless, symmetrical figure. The body is made of curves and loops nested around each other. The center of the figure is a long, ovoid torso. White, red, bright yellow, and black/grey earth-based pigments give this piece an exciting, playful appearance. Made to be a decorative panel celebrating a triumph. Size: 36.4" W x 36.8" H (92.5 cm x 93.5 cm)
