Description:

Native American, Pacific Northwest Coast, probably Haida or Tlingit people, ca. mid 20th century CE. A handsome copper sheet box with a lid and with traditional northwestern motifs adorning its hammered surface. Notably, there is a dramatic flared sun face/sun mask on one side; there are also disembodied eyes in a ring on the lid and more abstract, avian faces on the other sides of the box. The copper sheet is laid over wood and lined with warm brown leather, creating a soft home for any treasures you want to place within. Size: 4.75" W x 4.6" H (12.1 cm x 11.7 cm)
