Native American, Pacific Northwest Coast, ca. mid 20th century CE. A handsome and imaginative wooden totem pole featuring a series of stacked animals arrows on an integrated wooden base. At the top are two outstretched faces shown in profile that form the wings of the eagle who caps the pole. A beaver, raven, and squirrel complete the pole, which retains a great deal of black and white pigment. Size: 9.9" W x 27.85" H (25.1 cm x 70.7 cm)
