Native American, Southwestern United States, Navajo, ca. mid 20th century CE. A fine pair of sterling silver and turquoise cuff style bracelets. One features a solid silver panel with raised bezels containing 2 large turquoise stone, and a pair of leaves and granulated spheres. The other cuff has a diamond shaped panel decorated with hollow, pierced hemispherical shapes around a teardrop turquoise. The faces of both are supported by 3 thick wire bands and are fully wearable! Size (cuff with 2 stones): 2.5" Diameter x 2.3" W (6.4 cm x 5.8 cm); (gap opening): 1.5" W (3.8 cm); (second cuff): 2.3" Diameter x 2.25" W (5.8 cm x 5.7 cm); (gap opening): 1.3" W (3.3 cm); silver quality: 93% to 95%; total weight: 134 grams
