East Asia, China, ca. 1920 to 1930 CE. A gorgeous and wearable silver and jade bracelet with 5 hinged plates. The jade stones are carved with openwork and low relief floral and vegetal motifs and are inlaid via form-fitting prong settings. Four of the stones are jadeite and one is nephrite, all in lustrous pale green and creamy white hues. The articulated silver links feature low relief flowers and foliage, and the bracelet has a functioning tongue-and-groove box clasp that enables its wearability. Size: 7" L x 0.9" W (17.8 cm x 2.3 cm); silver quality: 91.9% to 92.1%; weight: 36.5 grams
