Description:

Pre-Columbian, Costa Rica, Highlands, Huetar culture, ca. 800 to 1200 CE; Northern Mexico, Casas Grandes or Raramuri (Tarahumara), ca. 1100 to 1400 CE. A pair of hand-built pottery bowls - one is a redware Huetar pot with zoomorphic lugs and textured circular, incised linear motifs along the carinated shoulder. The other vessel is petite, but with a hefty weight, painted in polychrome hues, and likely originates from the Northern Mexico. Size of larger pot: 6" Diameter x 4.5" H (15.2 cm x 11.4 cm)
