Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco & Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A set of 3 hand-built pottery figures of highly stylized forms. The first Colima figure stands with arms crossed atop the chest, and the second Colima figure is of the Autlan type and depicts a semi-nude elderly woman seated with legs tucked beneath her body. The Jalisco figure is shown seated with hands placed atop bent knees and facial features that partially resemble the sheepface variety of figure from this culture. Size of largest (Colima Autlan): 2.5" L x 3.2" W x 4.75" H (6.4 cm x 8.1 cm x 12.1 cm)
