Europe, probably England, Victorian Period, ca. 19th century CE. A stunning sterling (95.3%) silver necklace with coral cameos and ovoid shapes set within bezels. The necklace has two sets of chains that run from both sides of the clasp and connects to each cluster of bezels. The rounded bezels contain the orange-red coral which is either polished and rounded or carved as cameos of a woman's head in profile with a short wavy hairstyle, reminiscent of a bob. The clasp is a push box clasp that makes this attractive necklace easy to wear.
