North America, Southeastern United States, Civil War Era, ca. 1861 to 1865 CE. A historical collection of 6 Civil-War-era lead bullets, musket ball, buttons, and iron barrel ring, all found on old battlefield and campsites. The verso of the display case has a sticker label: Union 3 Ring Minnie - which was the standard Union issue bullet type for the Springfield Rifle-Muskets. The Williams Cleaner Type 3, another Union issued bullet for muskets. A rifle band - the iron ring attachment for a gun barrel. A New York State Militia coat button, a Union Eagle cuff button, and 0.69 caliber ball. Size of rifle band: 1.5" L (3.8 cm); case: 5.25" L x 4.25" W (13.3 cm x 10.8 cm)
