Southeast Asia, Thailand, ca. 19th century CE. A pair of carved, light wooden statues, each depicting a different Buddhist figure, each depicted with lotus flowers and sinuous curves. One is Buddha, depicted with a tall, conical ushnisha and flames rising from his shoulders. The other is a bodhisattva who holds her long hair over her shoulder. Size of largest: 4" W x 14.05" H (10.2 cm x 35.7 cm)
