A dancer holding a cymbal!

Southeast Asia, Thailand, ca. late 19th century CE. A wooden hand-carved figure of a dancer, made from a beautiful pale teak wood that has aged into a pale cream color. The dancer is posed dynamically, down on one knee, holding a pair of cymbals (although one of them is missing), with a smiling face and twin long plaits of hair down the back. Size: 3.95" L x 2.9" W x 9" H (10 cm x 7.4 cm x 22.9 cm)
