Northern Europe, Scandinavia or perhaps Russia, ca. 19th to early 20th century CE. A hand-built leather reindeer harness with a lengthy head strap, a curved bone meant to go along the animal's forehead above its eye, and a straight bone bit. Cultures in harsh wintery regions have utilized reindeer for centuries for a variety of utilitarian tasks.
