Central Asia / Near East, Iran, Ottoman / Qajar Empire, ca. 19th century CE. A large chased copper bowl resting upon a foot with walls that flare out and up. Encircling the exterior rim is an incised register of geometric and arabesque motifs and a framing border with stylized calligraphic script. One side has a cartouche with script. Size: 13.75" Diameter x 7.25" H (34.9 cm x 18.4 cm)
