Native American, Southwest, Plains Indians, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. An attractive pair of beaded deer or buffalo hide moccasins, lane-stitched with sinew and glass beads of periwinkle blue, translucent red, black, and white hues across the vamp and around the ankle that are arranged in striking chevron, cross, and tipi motifs. Both moccasins have rawhide soles and insteps. A handsome pair! Size: 9" L x 3.25" W x 3" H (22.9 cm x 8.3 cm x 7.6 cm)
