Description:

Near East, Persia / Iran, ca. 19th century CE. A beautiful, intricate silver bracelet with an inlaid oval jadeite stone set into a floral-shaped setting to cover a hinge. Around the hinge are two thick columns, each with small four-sided floral motifs applied to them. Extending outward from the columns are two tightly woven silver chains that form much of the band of the bracelet; these are joined in the middle with two narrow silver wires, but otherwise are left free to give a supple, moveable form to the band. Size: 2.8" W x 1.1" H (7.1 cm x 2.8 cm); 80.7 grams total weight
