Central Asia, Nepal or Tibet, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A stunning 77.5% to 81% silver pin displaying a pentagonal form and an undulating periphery. Slightly convex, the gorgeous adornment features an intricate relief image of a pair of quadrupeds with a bird above, a dragon-like creature below, and a bowl of fruit at the center, all surrounded by an elaborate vegetal motif. A pair of hooks for attachment can be found on the verso. Size: 4.75" W x 3.5" H (12.1 cm x 8.9 cm); Silver quality: 77.5% to 81%; Weight: 63.4 grams
