South Asia, Nepal, ca. 19th century CE. A nice cast bronze seated Buddha. He holds a dorje in one hand, symbol of the "thunderbolt of enlightenment," a bell, and an alms bowl. His throne has three large, decorated loops that are behind him, and he wears a three-pointed headdress in front of his very tall ushnisha. Size: 3.45" W x 5.1" H (8.8 cm x 13 cm)
