A delicate, thin-walled ceramic bowl, its surface decorated with gorgeous glazed pigment in the style first developed in the Islamic world around the turn of the first millennium. The sides are painted with a radiating motif of seated human figures separated by Arabic script, drawn in brown on a background of pale blue and pale yellow. Size: 5.75" W x 2.65" H (14.6 cm x 6.7 cm)
