North Pacific, Hawaiian Islands, ca. 19th century CE. A collection of 27 postage stamps with perforated edges and some are used. These issued stamps are often referred to as pictorials and feature busts of the royal family including Queen Liliuokalani, King Kamehameha V, and the statue of King Kamehameha I, the Hawaiian Republic coat of arms, and the Port of Honolulu. Four are overprinted with the red stamp "Provisional Govt. 1893." All are displayed in individual stamp mounts within protective sleeves and are removable to reorganize as one chooses. Size (stamps): 1" L x 1" W (2.5 cm x 2.5 cm); (sleeves): 5.75" L x 3.25" W (14.6 cm x 8.3 cm)
