Illustrations de M. M. Rouargue Freres." The first is entitled, "Espagnols - Toreador" (Spaniards, Toreador) drawn by A. Rouargue and engraved by his brother E. Rouargue. Next, two identical hand-colored steel engravings by the brothers Rouargue entitled, "Péruvienne, Brésilien, Chilien" (Peruvian, Brasilian, Chilean). Wonderful visual culture indicative of the French fascination with Spain and Portugal, a marvelous window onto 19th century transculturalism.
