Western Europe, probably England or Germany, ca. 19th century CE. A hand-carved wooden pipe of a tall form with several protruding bulbs that encircle the body. The narrow mouth is capped with an intricately etched 90% silver cap, with a stippled silver tube connecting the narrow stem to the body, and an eagle-topped silver mouthpiece capping the stem terminal. Size: 5.5" L x 4.75" H (14 cm x 12.1 cm); quality of silver: 90%
