Western Europe, probably England, ca. 19th century CE. A cast-brass depiction of Jesus Christ during the Crucifixion with pierced hands. Christ hangs his head to his right, wears a short loincloth around his waist, and holds his feet atop the tilted block. Fine green and brown patina have formed across the composition. Size: 3.625" W x 3.8" H (9.2 cm x 9.7 cm); 5.4" H (13.7 cm) on included custom stand.
