East Asia, China, later Qing Dynasty, ca. 19th to early 20th century CE. A large, handsome porcelain vase, decorated with classic Chinese blue-on-white floral and natural motifs. The body of the vessel is tall and columnar, narrowing at the neck before flaring outward to a broad mouth with a slightly thickened rim. Two openwork handles grace the sides of the neck. Size: 7" W x 16.8" H (17.8 cm x 42.7 cm)

Provenance: private Los Angeles County, California, USA collection, acquired by descent from the owner's father, collection amassed between 1950 and 1990
