A bronze statue of the bodhisattva Guanyin (Avalokiteshvara), "The Lord Who Gazes Down At The World", a bodhisattva portrayed as both male or female who embodies the compassion of all Buddhas. Skillfully cast with a tremendous amount of detail, the figure sits, face serene, body draped in elaborately-formed clothing and jewelry. It wears an elaborate crown with a lotus flower at its center. Size: 4.3" W x 7.55" H (10.9 cm x 19.2 cm)
