Description:

East Asia, China, ca. late 19th century CE. A hand-built brass opium pipe with a removable stem and storage container as well as a pick and tweezers resting in narrow cavities within the hefty body. The tweezers and pick have suspension holes meant to hold thin chains that would hang from the upper portion of the mouthpiece, and the storage container has a hinged lid for ease of access. Both sides of the body are incised with leaves and floral motifs that give it a personalized presentation. Size: 1.9" L x 0.875" W x 7.25" H (4.8 cm x 2.2 cm x 18.4 cm)
