Description:

Southeast Asia, likely Burma (Myanmar), ca. 19th century CE or older. A pair of stone tools, a whetstone of a rectangular form, and an adze or axe head blade. The whetstone is smooth and slightly concave in the center after heavy use from honing blades like the included adze. The adze is thick and broad, tapering to an acutely angled tip that retains a slightly sharpened edge. Size (adze blade): 5.75" L x 2.5" W (14.6 cm x 6.4 cm)
