South America, Bolivia, ca. 19th century CE. A cast silver cup in the form of an octagon whose sides extend upward from the base, flaring outward at a slight angle, to join at a round rim. Leaves and archway motifs decorate the exterior; the rim has a raised, beaded pattern around its exterior. The handle is in the form of a very long-necked bird whose body is split in half by a flower. Size: 3.75" L x 2.65" W x 2.95" H (9.5 cm x 6.7 cm x 7.5 cm) (116.2 g)
