United States, Wisconsin, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A fine pair of wood optometrist mirrors that swivel on a base and pivots within the neck. The verso of the mirror panel has metal tabs to secure a paper chart for an optometrist / eye patient to reference during the exam. The underside of both have manufacture labels for the Hamilton Manufacturing Company in Two Rivers Wisconsin. Hamilton specialized in a line of furniture for medical and dental offices, these mirrors probably date to before their switch to steel furnishings in 1917. Both are in fine condition and would be great décor for an optometrist office or glasses store! Size: 8" Diameter x 13.75" H (20.3 cm x 34.9 cm)
