North America, United States, ca. 19th century CE. A forged-steel dagger of an elongated, triangular profile with sharpened edges, a pointed tip, and a deep fuller running almost the entire length. The tang is covered with a cylindrical fitting carved from deer antler and incised with shallow horizontal striations. Nice patina covers both the blade and antler handle. Size: 14.2" L x 1.125" W (36.1 cm x 2.9 cm)

  • Condition: Repair to antler handle with small chips and very light adhesive residue along break lines. Very slight bending towards tip of blade, with abrasions to blade and handle. Nice patina throughout.
