Description:

North America, USA, ca. early 19th century CE. A nicely preserved example of a double shot snake, with a long leather body, leather strap with steel buckle, and two spring-activated brass spouts. This was made for a muzzle-loading black powder shotgun, designed to be worn across the body with the spouts at the right position for pouring into the gun. Size: 3.25" W x 17" H (8.3 cm x 43.2 cm); size does not include leather strap.
