New World, USA, ca. 19th century CE. A cast bronze, working model of a cannon, known as a signal cannon, with full movement on its base. The body of the cannon is very wide and banded. It has a wick hole/touch hole on top. This is a model of a coehorn mortar and is likely American or possibly British. Size: 5.7" L x 3.45" W x 2.75" H (14.5 cm x 8.8 cm x 7 cm)
