Description:

Latin America, Mexico, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A striking vintage sterling silver bracelet with a tapering band inlaid with mottled chrysocolla stones in sea green and sky blue. A hinged spring at the center allows the band to open where the stone volute and silver cuff slightly overlap, and the interior is only stamped with a sterling mark, however the stones are inlaid using the "Mosaico Azteca / Aztec Mosaic" technique that Los Castillo Taxco jewelry is famous for. This is a bold statement piece that is wearable. Size: 3" Diameter x 1.6" W (7.6 cm x 4.1 cm); inner opening: 2.5" Diameter (6.4 cm); silver quality: 95%; weight: 99.4 grams
