Description:

Native American, Western United States, Plateau / Plains region, likely Nez Perce / Crow people, ca. early 20th century CE. A hand beaded coin purse with a satin interior liner and the exterior entirely covered with beadwork in a floral motif. The zipper closure no longer functions, but the beadwork on this is beautifully preserved. The chevron shaped teeth design of the Crown brand zipper suggests before 1940s or earlier. Size: 3.5" Diameter (8.9 cm)
