An extraordinary art deco style coffee percolator urn made by Manning Bowman with a highly reflective aluminum chrome surface, orange bakelite accents, and glass lid knob; this model is the "Harmony." The design was inspired by a prototype of a tea urn by the famous architect Eliel Saarienen. Includes branding marks and serial number on the base, articulating handle, faucet type spout, interior percolator components, and electrical prong connectors set into the foot. Size: 12" Diameter x 12" H (30.5 cm x 30.5 cm)

Provenance: ex-private Bishop Family Trust collection, the Trust of the late Bill Bishop, a noted antiquarian with shops in Scottsdale, Arizona and Allenspark, Colorado, USA, acquired before 2010
