Description:

United States, ca. early 20th century CE. A lovely needlepoint clutch purse with a wood frame and a gilt-brass clasp inlaid with a massive turquoise stone! The stone setting is on a hinge that hooks over the wood lip. The inside of the colorful clutch is lined with silk and there were 2 enigmatic paper notes inside one pocket from the previous owner- one seems to be a line of poetry, and the other is a Philadelphia address. This purse is in great vintage condition and is suitable for light use or as a theater prop! Size: 12" L x 8.75" H (30.5 cm x 22.2 cm); gold quality: 28%
