Polynesia, Hawaii, ca. 1905 CE. A lovely polished bowl made from a coconut shell with a thick silver band around the rim, three silver ball feet, and a plaquette that is inscribed "GOAM 1905". A wonderful antique example of Hawiaiian visual culture. Size: 4.875" W x 2.8" H (12.4 cm x 7.1 cm) Silver quality: rim- 82% silver; feet - 92% silver; plaque - 87% silver
