Native American, Midwestern to Western United States, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A pretty loom woven belt sash made from Cheyenne pink and semi translucent green and red beads. Loom-woven beadwork involves weaving intricate patterns using small seed beads, thread, and a loom. The technique allows for precise and detailed designs which are visible on both sides, rather than just embroidered to a cloth. Size of length doubled: 43" L x 0.75" W (109.2 cm x 1.9 cm)
