Native American, Western United States, Plains Tribes, Apsaalooke (Crow) / Lakota (Sioux), ca. 1900s CE. A beaded leather gun holster with a decorative fringe and cord for suspension from a belt; this would fit a handgun such as a revolver. The front panel is beaded using lane (lazy) stitching and tiny glass seed beads in hues of greasy yellow, cobalt, powder blue, Cheyenne pink, red, and green. Size: 7.5" L x 4.5" W (19 cm x 11.4 cm)
