Description:

**Originally Listed At $300**

Western Europe, England and Germany, ca. 18th to 19th century CE. A collection of 2 iron barrel shaped locks with screw keys, and a large iron padlock with brass fittings and a key. The short barrel locks have simple keys with a threaded bit like a drill that screws into the keyhole to release the bar. The large padlock is a style similar to those used in smokehouses in the 19th century, a protrusion inside the keyhole fits into the cavity on the tip of the key as a swivel point, and this lock still functions! Size of large padlock: 4.5" L x 3" W (11.4 cm x 7.6 cm)
